Highland Coo Mittens
This design is part of a collection of designs inspired by Scotland, in collaboration with Gingersnap. As soon as Gingersnap asked about a Scottish collection I knew I had to include a Highland Coo with flowers! I really think he’s the prettiest cow.
These mittens are knit with a Latvian braid cuff and an afterthought thumb. The body of the mittens are knit using two colours, and the colourful flowers and boughs can be added using duplicate stitch. The cuff can be knit using two colours or several colours as the chart shows. The purl stitches add texture to the cuff.
