The Highland Fringe Shawl, inspired by Outlander, offers that effortless cozy vibe. It is also a soothing knit as Scarfie does the colorwork pattern for you. This is the perfect make for the holiday season, from the fiber to the wearability and giftable qualities of this accessory.

Finished Measurements:
80” wingspan
25” long
10” fringe

• Pattern is worked flat, meaning you will turn for every row.
I suggest learning to knit backwards to perform your purl rows in order to avoid having to flip your work.
• Shawl is constructed from the largest part of the wingspan down to the tip using circular needles to hold the weight of all the stitches.
• Shawl is designed to wear cast-on edge along neck/shoulders for a clean & structured edge.
• Since the cast-on is a large stitch count, I recommend markers to help easily count,
• By making sure you have 10” tails, you shouldn’t need to weave in any ends, especially if you Russian join new skeins mid-knitting, as the tails can blend in with the fringe.
• Sample used 531 yards before fringe and 155 yds for the fringe.
