As an avid hiker at Mount Rainier, I was looking for warmth for an early season hike to Glacier Basin. This design is made with a cost-effective non-wool yarn that can withstand mud and be easily hand washed after a day hike.

This set includes 2 patterns. One for the leg gaiters leg warmers and the second pattern for the neck gaiter cowl.

This pattern is colorwork using four different skeins of yarn. This pattern is designed for a woman of medium height and build. If taller, add additional rounds of knitting in the color sections. If a wider or looser fit is desired, add or reduce stitches by 3/6/9/12 etc. stitches as the design repeats a pattern of 3 stitches.
