Hilbert

Hilbert knows no up or down. Worked in worsted yarn, this cowl keeps your neck warm whichever way you wear it. Choose two high-contrast colours for the maximum effect, or two shades of the same colour for a subtle transition.

Notes

Finished measurements after blocking:
28 cm x 56 cm / 11 in x 22 in (height x circumference)

You will need:

  • De Rerum Natura Gilliatt (250 m, 100g / 273 yds, 3.53 oz), 1/2 skein in Colour 1 (light) | 1/2 skein in Colour 2 (dark)
  • 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, 80 cm / 32 in or longer to use with magic loop
  • a tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
  • 11 stitch markers (to indicate beginning of round and repeats, optional)

The sample cowl is shown in De Rerum Natura Gilliatt in Goeland (C1) and Cypres (C2).
