Fall seems to be just around the corner in my lovely little part of the world and it seems like the right time to start knitting hats! I live in the hills and hollers (hollows, but we call them “hollers” around here!) of southern Indiana, a little secret pocket of beauty in an otherwise flat, agricultural state. This hat reminds me of those hills and hollers and I am excited to share it with you!

This Fair Isle hat is written as a one size fits all adult pattern with options for making it smaller or larger by adjusting stitch and row count up or down. The finished hat, without a pom pom, is approximately 19” around and 9” tall.

I used Malabrigo Rios in two contrasting colors, but any worsted weight yarn can be used. You will use a little over half of each skein of Rios.
