NOTES

• The difficulty level is beginner/intermediate.
• Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end of a round unless otherwise noted. Move the marker up after completing each round.
• Do not crochet too tightly around the curves of the oval for the face or else the oval will curl up.
• Instructions in parenthesis with an “x” after it should be repeated however many times indicated.
• On the ears, your work will naturally curl inwards. You’ll want to push the centers up, so the magic circle tail yarns are tucked into the “pockets”.

MATERIALS
• 3 colors of yarn:
o Your choice of primary color, size 4 medium (Shown: Big Twist Heather, Purple)
o White or cream for teeth and eye detail, size 4 medium
o Black for eyebrows or eyelashes, size 4 medium
• 4.5mm hook (primarily); 3.0mm hook (for the nostrils only)
• 12mm safety eyes (and a lighter for melting the backs)
• Stuffing (Poly-fil)
• Yarn needle for sewing on pieces and details
• Scissors
• Stitch markers

SIZE
If the described materials above are used, this holder measures approximately 7.5” across at the widest point and 4.5” at the tallest point (tops of ears). The inner height of just the oval is approximately 3.5”.
