Hippos have a lovable grace and mystery about them. This hat is a tribute to the hippo! As with my other stranded creature hats, this hat is knit by repeating a pattern along the crown of your head with a border above and/or below (depending on the size) to finish the pattern off. Use some of the suggested colors or customize the colors to make the perfect hat for you! The pattern includes instructions for a slouch hat (my personal favorite) in a number of sizes, which can be lengthened or shortened according to your preference, and a beanie. Happy knitting!
