The white lotus, or hoa sen, is an iconic symbolic element in Vietnamese culture, representing purity, loyalty, optimism, and enlightenment. Hoa Sen Tee is a nod to my heritage, with bold lotus motifs worked in lace around the yoke. Lace ribs bring an architectural sensibility, framing the neck and face with striking lines, while an I-cord cast-on provides a simple, elegant piping detail at the collar. Worked from the top down in the round, the yoke depth, body length, and sleeve length are easily adjustable. The sport/light DK weight makes it a fast knit that is still cool enough for warm summer days.

Pattern has been tech edited and tested. Lace is charted only.
