DESIGN NOTES
This is a unisex wrap worked flat in one-color and two-color brioche rib using fingering weight mini skeins held double with mohair. This is a beginner-friendly brioche project that is a great stash-buster for leftover fingering weight yarns.

YARN
Note: The pattern uses one strand of fingering weight yarn held with one strand of lace weight yarn, but they can be substituted with a single strand of DK weight yarn. If using a DK weight yarn, ignore all references to holding the yarn together with soft silk mohair and work all stitches with a single strand of DK.

22, 20 g, mini skeins in fingering weight yarn or 408 g / 1,918 yds / 1,754 m of fingering weight yarn. Shown in:

  • A Homespun House Mini Skeins in Soft Sock fingering weight yarn, 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon from A Homespun House Advent Calendar 2023. 22 of 24 mini skeins used in pattern, 20 g / 94 yds / 84 m per mini skein.

  • Note: the yarns pictured were dyed once and will not be available to purchase. However, you can use any fingering weight yarns (from an Advent calendar, your stash or scrap yarn) to achieve a creation of your own. The entirety of each mini skein was not used up.

9 balls of lace weight yarn or 207 g / 1,918 yds / 1,754 m of lace weight yarn. Shown in:

  • Isager Silk Mohair lace weight yarn (or any lace weight yarn of your choice) 75% Kid Mohair / 25% Silk, Colour EO, 25 g / 232 yds / 212 m.
