This adorable colorwork cowl is the perfect quick knit for a gift or a weekend project. Worked in the round from the bottom up, and finished with (optional) French knots. Graded for Worsted (or Aran) and Bulky weight yarn.

We recommend a solid yarn for your background, and a solid or tonal for your contrast. Wool and wool blends will work best for this project.

Gauge is not necessary for this project, but is provided so you can properly calculate the yardage you will need. Gauge is measured in the round in stockinette stitch, blocked. We suggest you work the chart on page 3 to get your most accurate gauge. If you choose to increase your length/height of your cowl, you will need more yarn!

Gauge: 20 st & 24 rounds = 4”/10cm
