The Home Hat is a stranded colourwork hat worked in the round, from the brim to the crown. The long ribbed brim makes for a snug fit. The hat is available in three sizes: adult small, adult medium, and adult large. Adult medium will fit most people (around 55-60cm circumference head), al be it a bit more slouchy for some and a bit more fitted for others. I have added the adult small and adult large size for those at either sides of the medium spectrum and who would like an equally snug fit.

Please note that the Scheepjes Metropolis yarn loosens up a bit while blocking. This means that while you are knitting the hat, it should be a bit on the tight side in order for it to fit correctly after blocking. If it fits you comfortably before blocking, it will likely be slouchy/too big after blocking.

For this hat I recommend using at least three colours. The finished hats weigh about 50 grams, which means in theory you could knit a hat with just 1 ball of Scheepjes Metropolis (without any colourwork). Feel free to let your creativity run wild and use as many colours as you like!
