This red/purple blanket used 200g of Scheepjes Whirlette (Pomegranate) and measured approx 75 x 75cm. The blue ombre blanket used 200g of Hobbii Cotton Kings Sultan (Emerald) and measures approx 78 x 78cm.

You can use any yarn to make a beautiful blanket and can make it in any size you wish, just remember to use an appropriate hook size for your yarn. Gauge is not necessary for this pattern though is included.

This pattern is worked from the centre in rounds and uses the following UK crochet terms. (US equivalent in brackets below).

Ch - Chain
Tr - Treble Crochet (double crochet)
Htr - Half treble crochet (half double crochet)
Ss - Slip stitch

The pattern includes an explanation and photos of each round up until round 12. From round 13 the pattern repeat increases but is easily followed using the pattern notes and diagram.
