Homecoming Blanket
Knit in an easy-to-remember cable pattern, the Homecoming Blanket is a classic cable design. The repeats are 12 stitches consisting of 2/1 and 2/2 cable crosses. It has an i-cord edge (created with slipped stitches) on two sides and rolled stockinette on the other two edges. Charted and written instructions.
Sized for a baby or regular throw blanket and knit in light worsted yarn.
Sizes: baby (36” x 36” 92 cm x 92 cm), throw (40” x 60” 125 cm x 153 cm).
Yarn: Knitpicks Comfy Worsted 75% pima cotton/25% acrylic (50g=109 yards 100 meters). You will need:
10 balls (483 grams or 1,053 yards 963 meters), 23 balls (1,127 grams or 2,457 yards 2,247 meters).
