Honey Bear Apron
I really love baking, even though I’m actually really bad at it! I once made a gorgeous, golden bundt cake, only to discover that it was hard as a rock! My lack of skill never stops me though, so whether you’re a culinary genius or just a hopeful like me, we can still bake with style in this sweet honey bear apron. You can even leave off the arms and legs and still have an adorable piece to wear in the kitchen! Want to make one as a gift? Embroider someone’s name right on the honey-bear’s belly, or leave a little message, like PURE HONEY, BEE SWEET, or QUEEN BEE.

Finished Size
15” (38 cm) wide at widest point, not including ties, x 25” (63.5 cm) long, from top of cap to bottom of bear

  1. For a slightly smaller apron, switch to a smaller hook and use a tighter gauge. For a child’s apron, use a lighter weight worsted or a sport weight yarn.

  2. The bear’s head is an oval worked in hdc. The number of increases is alternated in each rnd to keep the oval flat.

  3. Right and left refer to your right and left with the front of the honey bear facing you, rather than the honey bear’s left and right.
