Honey Bee Blanket

☀️ Sweet as honey, cozy as a hug
There’s something so sweet about this cheerful blanket. After the Buzzing Beehive Blanket, I didn’t think I’d come up with another bee style. But inspiration struck, I’d been itching to cross stitch, and so the Honey Bee Blanket was born: crochet and cross stitch, together at last.
Not a cross stitcher? No problem. There’s a crochet tapestry option too, where the bee is simply mirrored and turns out beautifully. You can also size the blanket up or down by adding or removing hexagons.
✨ What makes it work
- Hexagon construction. Easy to size up or down.
- Two ways to add the bee. Cross stitch or crochet tapestry.
- Schematic included. Helps you plan any adjustments.
- Substitution friendly. Any yarn that blocks each piece to an even hexagon works.
