The large, triangular shape is classic and flattering and can be worn many ways. It’s worked flat on circular knitting needles. There is a right and a wrong side.

My favorite part about this shawl (besides the color) is definitely the little “bees” swarming about in neat and tidy rows. I really enjoyed getting to know these bees as each one was knit. For me, this was such a process knit as I enjoyed every single stitch and was truly saddened by the project’s end; so much so that I decided to write another pattern, very similar to this one, only it uses fingering weight yarn and has a slightly different shape. Stay tuned……..in the meantime, happy knitting my crafty friends!
