The Honey of a Bag pattern was created to showcase the beautiful Honeycomb Stitch and give a nod to my sweet little town of Honey Grove, Texas. A Moss Stitch frame offers the Honeycomb Stitch panel the spotlight while being a stunner on its own. Strategically placed stitch markers allow you to get into a nice little rhythm and help this bag work up quickly.

I love options in my knitting projects and this one has several to make it uniquely yours! Knit your own straps, purchase some leather ones, or go without straps altogether and use it as a clutch. Select a fabric lining that makes a big statement or keep it more reserved. A big button or a magnetic snap work great as a closure.

The combinations are endless and I can’t wait to see them all! Be sure to tag me @farmfreshknits and #honeyofabag on Instagram and Facebook and show me your progress and completed bag.

Bags using a worsted weight yarn will work up with approximately 200 yards and measure between 11” to 12” wide and up to 9” tall. See gauge notes for more information.
