This stitch pattern reminded me of throwing stones into the squares of hop scotch. The “stones” are bobbles incorporated into stockinette stitch squares, interspersed with lace squares made with yarn overs. The side, top and bottom edges are garter stitch. This is a generously sized scarf and could easily be converted into a wider wrap by increasing the number of repeats for the lace pattern. The yarn is DK weight and the needle size is 7 ((4.5 mm).
