Hopsage is a plant that grows in the hill country of the Eastern Sierra. Its flowers are like softer, rounded leaves on its branches and range from ivory, to pale green, to pink, to a vibrant wine. A slightly loose fitting tunic below and a slightly-snug fitting tunic above, Hopsage is knit tightly in a cotton-linen blend to keep out the cool mountain breezes but allow breathability under the summer sun. Take Hopsage on your next camping trip to wear around camp, throw it on over your swimsuit and board shorts when you’re heading out to the lake, our dress it up with a skirt and sandals to hit the town. This simple, versatile tunic is sure to become a summer wardrobe favorite.

Any extra yarn is great for making little washcloths (of which there are several patterns available on Ravelry!).
The yarn requirements for the larger sizes are estimates based on how much was left after knitting a tunic of the smaller size and have not yet been proven.
Please contact me if you would like to make the larger sizes of this pattern as those sizes have not been tested. If you are interested in making one of the larger sizes, I will send you the pattern free in exchange for your feedback. Thanks!
