The body and head are worked in the round and the legs worked flat and sewn up.

Two differnt methods of making the mane are described. One method uses loop stitch of which there are many tutorials on Youtube. One that I found very clear is at www.planetjune.com/help.

The other method is to knot lenghts of yarn into a row of chain stitches and then secure with back stitch.

Instructions are also included for needle sculpting which gives the head a very realistic appearance.

You will also need toy stuffing for the head and embroidery thread for the eyes and nostrils.
