The interlinked houndies heart was inspired by a popular tattoo design. I have written it up as a pattern for a small lavender sachet, which would also make an amazing ring cushion for a hound themed wedding. The 36 stitch motif would also look well on socks, mittens and bags or even sweaters.

The sachet takes a very small amount of 4ply yarn, so is ideal to use up leftovers from other projects. It is a quick knit so will be great for Christmas & birthday gifts, or to raise funds for charity.

The finished article measures approximately 3.25” square, when knitted in 4ply yarn on 2mm needles. Gauge for the project isn’t really critical, nor is needle size; larger needles/ thicker yarn will just mean a bigger sachet or cushion.
