The “How-to-Knit” Dishcloth

Why spend money for one of the most basic knitting patterns? The last time I checked, there were 10,500 plus dishcloth patterns posted on Ravelry, of those over 4,500 were free. So I took a look at them, the free patterns. They all had one thing in common. They assumed you knew how to knit. What if you don’t know how to knit? Wouldn’t you like one of the most basic pattern to include step by step instructions for all the stitches and techniques used in the pattern? No need to go back and forth between your pattern, a book, or videos. Everything you need is all in one spot. All for only $3.

I’ve been knitting for over 40 years, and this is a dishcloth pattern that I return to time and time again. I always have 5-6 in my kitchen drawer. Plus, I keep another stack in my gym bag. When they wear out, I feel no remorse in relegating them to the rag pile and knitting a few more from a ball of cotton. One ball will make 2-3 dishcloths. So, for very little investment you too can have these great dishcloths in your kitchen or bath.
