This pattern is based upon the traditional Hudson Bay Company Blanket but is scaled to fit a crib. This blanket is easy enough for a beginner to tackle. It is knit with 100% acrylic yarn to make sure it will withstand the many machine washing and drying cycles that parents experience with little ones. We have had the best luck with the softness and washability of Bernat Super Value. It is soft yet tough enough to become that treasured “blanky” for years to come and hopefully handed down to others.

Finished size is approximately 30 x 36 inches, and is obtained with a garter stitch gauge is 17 stitches and 32 rows equals 4” on 5 mm (US 8) needles.
