This pattern is based upon the traditional Lumberjack shirt pattern that I remember my grandfather wearing when I was a child.

It is crocheted with Patons Canadiana, a historic yarn for Canadians. This is a worsted weight 100% acrylic yarn and will withstand the many machine washing and drying cycles that parents experience with little ones. It is soft yet tough enough to become that treasured “blanky” for years to come and hopefully handed down to others.

This can be made in any worsted weight yarn that you love working with and the size can be expanded if you want to make it larger just by adding more blocks to the width and length
