This beautiful and generously sized blanket is knit in one piece.
The pattern is totally reversible, and seamless.
It consists of a chevron rib pattern, with garter stitch edges on all sides.

Materials required include approximately 550/850/1250/1700 yds worsted weight yarn, for sizes S/M/L/XL; and size 8 needles (24”-40” circular needle is required to accommodate the number of stitches).
Recommended Gauge is 4.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch.
Although the blanket is knit with textured stitches, gauge information is provided in stockinette stitch, for ease in substituting yarns, and/or determining appropriate sized needles.
Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like.
Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical. It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Instructions are included for 4 sizes (with approximate finished measurements)
Small - 24” x 28”
Medium - 29” x 37”
Large - 34” x 47”
Extra Large - 40” x 54”

Sizes (which are approximate, after blocking), and yarn quantities may vary based on individual differences in knitting and blocking techniques.

Sample, in photos, was knit in size medium, using 4 skeins of Berroco Vintage yarn, color 5124/Kiwi.

Required skills include casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.
Use of markers and lifelines is recommended, to help maintain correct pattern stitch.
The pattern is not difficult, but does require that you recognize the difference between knits and purls, and that you pay attention to your stitches.

Enjoy knitting and using this blanket, and please post photos of your finished projects!
