Whether you call it a wrap, scarf, shawl or stole - it’s a great accessory to wrap around your neck or shoulders, to keep you warm and stylish in the cooler weather.

Pattern requires approx. 625 - 650 yds (325 - 350 grams) worsted weight yarn, and sample was knit on a size 7 needle.
Recommended gauge is 5 sts and 7 rows per inch, in stockinette stitch.
Although pattern is a combination of knits and purls, gauge information is provided in stockinette stitch, for ease in choosing appropriate yarn and needles.
Since this is not a fitted garment, gauge is not critical. It will however, affect finished size and amount of yarn used.
Pattern is clearly written.
Required skills are casting on, knitting, purling and binding off.
You’ll quickly come to memorize this beautiful and repetitive pattern, and it’s a joy to knit!

Finished measurements before blocking were approx. 14” wide x 60” long.
Finished measurements after blocking are approx. 16” wide x 72” long.
This project benefits from aggressive (but gentle) blocking to really show off the textured pattern stitch.
