GO GREEN WITH A KNITTED MUG CUFF

Use yarn remains from other projects and go green by replacing the paper sleeves at your local coffee shop with knitted mug cozy. You can also use it on your travel mug or reusable cup. It serves the purpose well, protecting your hands and keeping the drink warm. And it is so adorable.

It fits standard paper or reusable coffee mug perfectly and is long enough to insulate your beverage. Works on wine too! It will make a lovely present to yourself or someone important.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Finished cuff measures is 12.5 cm/5 inches toll and is about 20 cm/8 inches in diameter. Fits the large size coffee mug perfectly.

YARN

Patons Classic Wool Yarn, 100 % wool, 200 m/223 yds in 100 g/3.5 oz. One ball of yarn makes 5 cuffs!

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
US
3 (3.25 mm), double pointed needles, set of 5, or the size to obtain the gauge.
Cable needle.
Tapestry needle or a crochet hook to weave in the ends.

One stitch marker.
Button to decorate.

GAUGE

22 sts and 30 rnds = 10 cm (4 inches) in 2x2 ribbing on US size 3 (3.25 mm) needles.
