This pattern was again inspired by the yarn. I used the finest French blend of alpaca and Lana wools. Сables would not work on this yarn, but same it would not reveal its beauty if I used simple ribbing as the main stitch. So, here you go - the new pattern, nice and easy, as always.

This pattern is meant for adults, head circumference 54-56 cm/21.25-22.0 inches. Finished hat fits loose and is about 25 cm (10 inches) deep.

YARN
«Quito», Cheval Blanc (France), 60 % Alpaca, 40 % Lana, 200 m/100 g (219 yards in 3.5 oz). Used circa 75 g (165 yards).

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
DPN US 0 (2.0 mm) and circular knitting needles US 2 (2.75 mm).
Tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in the ends.
Stitch marker.

GAUGE
24 stitches and 30 rounds = 10 cm (4 inches) in 2-by-2 ribbing on US size 2 (2.75 mm) needles.

NOTES
This pattern is worked seamlessly in rounds from brim to crown.
Long tail tubular cast on is highly recommended for its elasticity, and it just looks better.
