This adorable piece is inspired by my very own dachshund. We made this pattern for our biggest order of 7 plushies, including 3 dachshunds. All of them, custom made after creating our pattern with our own sweet Hunter boy.
This pattern contains safety eyes and the legs, ears, tail and head have to be sewn together.

Yarn used:
For Dapple: Demi Purl Loops & Threads 100% Polyester (Bulk 6) color charcoal and Yarnspirations Bernat Baby Blanket 100% Polyester (Bulk 6) color gray and white.
Amount of Yarn used :
Charcoal: ½ Skein (76 yards approximately)
Gray: 1 Skein (220 yards)
White: Less than ¼ of a skein (38 yards approximately)
For Full color: Yarnspirations Bernat Baby Blanket 100% Polyester (Bulk 6), Brown, Black or Gray (Any color you’d like)
Amount of Yarn used :
Black: 1 Skein (220 yards)
You can use any yarn you desire, I personally love the Bernat Baby Blanket and the Demi Purl because of its softness and flexibility to work with.
Safety eyes: 16mm
Color white and color black scrap yarn for eye detail (bulk 4). It can be Red Heart. (I prefer using chenille or polyester yarn for a smoother look)
Polyester fiberfill: Approximately 3 oz. (It depends on how firm or soft you’d like your buddy)
Stitch markers
Pins to hold in place: optional
Scissors
4mm Hook (You can use the hook size you feel more comfortable with to alter the size of the piece. Please take into consideration the yarn size and the stitch tension if you decide to change hooks)
Yarn needle for weaving ends

Finish product approximate measurements using the 4mm hook and the recommended yarn on the pattern: 6.5x8x7.75 inch
