This fun little hair accessory adds a playful touch to any ponytail. The stitches are cast on directly to the hair tie and worked in the round. A modified picot bind off leaves a textured edge that resembles a hyacinth flower when worn. This scrunchie is a great stash buster. Quick and easy, it makes a great handmade gift.

Included in this pattern is a link to video tutorials for all of the special techniques used. I made these videos before I got my current video set up. I am in the process of replacing them with higher quality videos.

Needles
• US size 7 4.5 mm double pointed needles (set of 4)
• (Optional): US size 7 4.5 mm circular needle long enough to magic loop

• Hair Tie/hair elastic/ponytail ring/ponytail holder/whatever you call it in your corner of the world. Approximately 2″ in diameter.
• Yarn needle
