This is a pattern for an ornately twisted scarf. The placement of the stitches gives the scarf a geometric look. It is quite warm as it is knit with light worsted weight yarn. The look is both unique and eye catching. The stitches are twisted on the Right Side only, so if you’re used to twisting stitches, this will not be a difficult pattern for you.

This scarf measures approximately 8 inches x 68 - 78 inches can and requires approximately 650 - 900 yards.
The stitches are both charted and written out.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, purling, and either knowledge of twisting stitches (that are essentially 2 stitch cables ) There are instructions contained within the pattern for how to twist stitches.

This scarf can be knit in a single piece as it’s symmetrical.

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the pattern, the optional crocheted border.
