This is a crochet pattern for an I love you banner, in American Sign Language. It also has a small heart. This pattern features filet crochet, and includes a chart and a written pattern. I’ve included a link to a youtube video to help explain how to read a chart if this is your first time. Also, I’ve included a youtube video explaining how to do the chainless foundation stitch. It’s optional, but I think it makes a better finishing edge on the banners. In the written pattern part, I have included a few rows of hints to make sure you get started off on the right foot.

This pattern works up nicely in any sport weight yarn, and I’ve listed a few of my favorites.
