In 2020, I heard that purple was the color for empowering, I started to think of a design for a purple cowl. Once the design was completed, I wanted it to have a special name. I walked around saying Purple Cowl, Purple Cowl, and one of my favorite poems as a child popped into my head and I never saw a Purple Cowl was made.
I Never saw a Purple Cow,
I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I’d rather see than be one.
- A short nonsense poem written by Gelett Burgess, first published in 1895
