Inspired by Polynesian Tapa cloth, this shawlette incorporates textures and designs similar to Moana’s dress. 
The pattern is easy to follow with mostly chains and dc stitches.

It’s a lovely shawl for a cool day.  To make a larger shawl, crochet two and seam them together along the long sides.
