Ice Monaka Sweater is a simply shaped sweater which has lace pattern all over. This sweater is summer version of “Monaka Sweater”. So, I named this sweater Ice Monaka – ice monaka is one of popular sweets in Japan, as monaka is. (Ice monaka has ice cream in its crust…) The instructions are in text, and only lace pattern is in charts. It comes in 5 sizes.

Required yardage may vary depending on the substitute yarn, gauge and blocking conditions.
Gauge (after blocking):
20 sts and 30 rnds = 4” / 10 cm – lace pattern
20 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm - 1×1 ribbing of body hem and cuffs
33 sts and 40 rnds = 4” / 10 cm - 1×1 ribbing of neck
Suggested Needles:
Larger needles: US 6 / 4.0 mm for lace pattern and 1×1 ribbing – body hem and cuffs
Smaller needles: US 2.5 / 3.0 mm for 1×1 ribbing – neck
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.
Depend on circumference of the work, use 16” / 40 cm - 32” / 80 cm circular needles. For small circumference in the round, use the magic loop method or DPNs as your choice.

必要な場合はゲージに合うようサイズを調整する。編み地の輪の周囲の長さに適する40 cmから80 cmの輪針を使用する。小さい輪の場合はマジックループで編むか、両端針で編む
