Icicle Drift Scarf is an easy, beginner-friendly scarf featuring a simple and memorable stitch pattern that creates a striking textured fabric.

The scarf is worked flat in rows. The stitch pattern repeats vertically, allowing you to easily customize both length and width by adding or removing pattern repeats. This makes the design highly flexible and adaptable to different yarn weights and personal preferences.

Written instructions are provided, and a full stitch chart is also included, so you can choose the format that works best for your knitting style.

The sample scarf is shown in three different yarn options: DK, worsted, and chunky weight yarns. Suggested yarns include:
Katia Azteca Fine Lux (DK) - 1 ball,
Malabrigo Rios (worsted) - 2 skeins,
Lang Cloud (chunky) - 2 balls.
You may substitute any yarn within the DK to aran/chunky range, adjusting needle size to achieve a fabric you like.

Finished measurements for the sample shown are approximately 25 cm (10”) wide and 260 cm (102”) long after blocking. Gauge will vary depending on yarn choice and needle size; multiple gauges are provided in the pattern for reference.
