When I was asked to design socks for the Socks on Fire event, this idea sprung to mind immediately. I wanted a lace pattern that looked like flames.
This is a great pattern for those that love lace socks and those that are trying lace for the first time, the lace motif is simple and rhythmic and before you know it you are cruising down the stockinette leg and foot!
Specific details are not given in this pattern for the heel and toe. While suggestions are given, please just use your favourite.
