Ikirouta Mittens are made in collaboration with Opal yarns to highlight their Frozen collection. Chunky cables are worked flat to form a wristband; the band is later closed with your favorite buttons and crocheted loops (No buttonholes!) for an easy finish. Hand stitches are picked up along the edge and worked in stockinette in the round. An Indian thumb gusset adds interest to the palm and, more importantly, freedom of motion—important for tossing snowballs.
