Do you knit with cotton? Want to stave off the chill at your local restaurant, theatre, or the office during the summer months without getting too hot when you leave? Try this with Blue Sky Fibers Worsted Cotton, you will be surprised and spoiled!

I love a pattern with options! This summery cotton cowl can be made long, with 2 skeins, to double wrap, or short and neat, with 1 skein. While gauge is not critical, I always recommend checking gauge. I have knitted samples on US sizes 9 and 10.5 with plenty of yarn for a more loose or tighter gauge.

If you are a stickler for using ALL your yarn, like I am, I had enough yarn for a few more rows in the short and long versions. Weighing your yarn as you go will help with this if you choose. The best place to add rows is the middle, in the continuous K2, P2 pattern as you are halfway through the pattern for either size.
