Illumination Socks

The light is starting to shift here. The sun’s zenith is making it’s descent to due south and the last golden rays of summer are filtering through my northern forest.

These socks are a play on contrast using garter stitch, stockinette stitch and slipped stitches to blend and mix two colours.

I love options! So this pattern includes instructions for toe-up, cuff-down, mid-calf or shorties, and two heel options. A German short row heel is included or use the Fish Lips Kiss Heel instructions which you can purchase separately from the link.

Skills Required
Judy’s Magic Cast-on, working in the round, knit, purl, slipping stitches, increasing, decreasing, bind off using a stretchy method.
