You will need:
- 700m-750m/ 140g-150g of 3ply yarn. The pattern will be made with 700m of yarn (approx), but extra will be needed to secure the points to the rib-ends, as well as if you wish to make a securing tie, or tassels for the handle or ends (not included in the pattern).
-2.5mm crochet hook
-Good quality wood glue (for affixing top and handle of the parasol when done)
-Fabric glue to help secure knots on the ties to the rib-ends if not using jump rings (recommended but optional)
-Superglue for fixing the rib-ends when complete (optional)
-Scissors
-Needle to weave in your ends and to help thread your work through the rib-ends
-A stitch marker or two to mark the start of each round and secure work in progress.
