In the Tweeds is a boxy pullover featuring a wide neck and a fun play on texture. The top is designed to be slightly cropped in length with a relaxed fit in the body and sleeves. The kind of cozy sweater you could layer over a dress, or wear with a pair of high wasted pants or a maxi skirt. Have fun with & make it your own. Grab your favorite tweed yarn and give it a go!

Positive ease is already built in. Choose the size you want based on the amount of positive ease you’d like

Finished bust circumference (to fit with 4-8” positive ease)

Collar circumference: approx 20” (22.5”, 25”, 28”, 31.5”, 34.5” )
Sleeve circumference before decreases: 10.5” (11.75, 13, 14.25, 16.75, 18” )

Collar texture & sleeve cuffs 18 sts / 22 rows per 4”
Sweater Body (front) 17 sts / 24 rows per 4”

Needles and Notions

Size US 7 needle ( 4.5mm) or size needed to get gauge

Size US 8 needle (5.0mm) or size needed to get gauge
Cord lengths: 16” or 24” circular for collar
32” or 40” circular for body (based on size knitting)

Note: the longer length cords can also be used for the sleeves to do magic loop method instead of dpns.

• Double pointed needles for sleeves if prefer not to use magic loop method
• Distinct beginning of round stitch marker plus 3 additional stitch markers
• Waste yarn to hold sleeve sts and body stitched for working bottom hem
• Darning needle to weave in ends
