Inca Top - Summer Top
The Inca Top is worked seamlessly from the top down with a European Shoulder construction. The back yoke is worked first. Stitches are cast on for the back neck and shoulders, and the back neck and shoulder slope are shaped using German short rows. The back is then worked flat to the armhole depth, with increases worked along the armhole edges.
Stitches for the front are picked up from the shoulder stitches. Each front is worked separately, shaping the front neckline while working down to the armhole. The front and back are then joined at the underarm, and the body is worked in the round to the desired length.
