Inkwell
Inkwell is inspired by summer vacations on Martha’s Vineyard. Inkwell Beach is one of the many beautiful beaches on Martha’s Vineyard in Oak Bluffs (part of Town Beach). The beach is a key part of the African American Heritage Trail, which explores the rich history of the African American community on Martha’s Vineyard. This breezy, drop-sleeve pullover is the perfect spring-summer transitional piece — light and airy with an all-over diamond motif, and worn slightly cropped with plenty of positive ease. It’s the perfect layering piece for long days at the beach.

Front and back are then worked flat separately, with short rows to shape the shoulders. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round in the lace pattern, with a faux seam and shaping, down to 1 x 1 Rib and a neat Tubular BO. The neckband is worked in the same way.
