Update 1/17/2018 - In clarifying the chart repeats, I had the wrong numbers. You should repeat the chart SIX times for 5 and 6 quart pots, and SEVEN times for 8 quart. PDF is now updated.

5, 6, and 8 quart sizes included.

This Instant Pot cover allows you to cover and protect your Instant Pot in a stylish way! This pattern is thanks to my friend Olga, who pitched the idea of an Instant Pot cover to me. Her love of skiing inspired the Fair Isle snowflake design. If you are new to colorwork, this cover is a perfect opportunity to try a new knitting technique! I’ve included tips and links to additional resources to help you learn this beautiful colorwork style.

Instructions are included for both knitting flat and in the round.

• A safety note on yarns: For this project, it is important to know how the yarn responds to heat. Wool is generally considered to be very heat-safe, as it is self-extinguishing and does not melt; it may, however, felt and shrink when washed. Cotton is also a good choice, used commonly for potholders. Acrylic is typically considered unsafe for heat, as it ignites rapidly and melts. If using acrylic yarn, if would be best to store the Instant Pot off the counter and away from the stove/oven. Regardless of the yarn you choose, keep the Instant Pot and cover away from open flame, and do not cover the Instant Pot if it is still hot.
