I originally designed this as an abstract cable pattern, but almost everyone who saw it thought it looked like lotus flowers when viewed from either side.

The pattern assumes familiarity with cabling and basic cuff-down sock construction techniques. It will go a lot faster if you know how to work cables without a cable needle - I have not included a tutorial for this in the pattern since there are a number of good ones, such as this one, already available. The cable pattern is currently provided only in charted form.

Four sizes are included:
Small (56 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 7 inch foot)
Medium (64 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 8 inch foot)
Large (72 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 9 inch foot)
Extra Large (80 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 10 inch foot)

These fit a bit tighter than a stockinette sock with the same stitch count, so if you are between sizes it’s best to choose the larger one.

If you’re printing the pattern in black and white, you’ll want to make note of the highlighted columns on the chart.
