Intersections is a surf break across the street from my home. On a still day it is breathtaking for most onlookers, but heartbreaking for local surfers. “Intahs” as we call it locally can have some breaks that make you have the best day when the breeze picks up and the waves roll in…but you def need a good hat once you get out of the salt H2O. The intersections of the cables on this hat are my tribute to a great Westside Kauai spot as well as a MAHALO to all the Single Handed Knits Ravelry friends and blog followers.

Intersections Break is a quick and satisfying knit of cables against a purled background. Pattern includes ways to customize hat to fit your needs. Using one strand of worsted for a looser fit or two strands held together for a tighter watchman’s cap style, Intersections is versitile and can help use up stash.
