The Into the Weald cowl is a collaboration with Sóc Una Troca yarns. Laia is a passionate indie yarn dyer who finds and expresses her joy beautifully through colour. This pattern uses Sóc Una Troca’s Rêverie, a soft single Merino base suitable to wear next to the skin.

This cowl is worked in the round and begins with a twisted rib edging that grows through the texture towards the other end. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

This design is inspired by the Weald, an ancient area of woodland, meadows, rolling hills and open fields of South East England, that I’m lucky enough to have on my doorstep. My family and I usually have long country walks into the Weald to switch off, breathe and reconnect with nature.
