This pattern was made for the Blooming Spindle in collaboration with Gnome Depot yarn. Introducing our versatile trapezoid-shaped shawl pattern, designed to be worn in myriad styles, each creating the illusion of a distinct shawl.

Construction: Knitted from the narrow end upwards, the shawl begins with a bottom I-cord edge and progresses by picking up stitches, which are then worked upwards. Both a chart and written instructions for the lace pattern are included, ensuring accessibility for all knitters. Should you desire a wider shawl, simply add an extra 16 stitches, or continue working to increase its depth.

Notes: If you are using written instructions, I recommend using stitch markers to identify repeats. Stitch markers are not necessary when using the knitting chart. You can also extend the size as big as you want! Either CO 16 more stitches to the desired length or continue repeating the chart.

Size: One size fits all
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) 36” or longer circular needles
Notions: yarn needle, stitch markers, and crochet hook
Gauge: 24 stitches per 4 inches
