The Into Thin Air sweater is worked top down.
First, the back yoke is worked back and forth in pattern down to the base of the armhole. Stitches are then picked up along the back shoulders for both fronts, which are worked separately before being joined at the centre front, and the remainder of the front is worked to the same length as the back.
The work is then joined, and the body is worked in the round in pattern and finished with an edging worked alternately in knit stitches and slipped stitches.
The edging is completed with 2 rounds of double-knit rib and an Italian bind-off

Stitches are picked up along the armholes, and the sleeves are worked in the round in the same slip-stitch pattern as the lower edge of the body.

Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckband, which is worked in rib and finished with an Italian bind-off.
